These are the Terms and Conditions that apply when you book your room at Alberto’s through this website. We have tried to keep this section short so that everyone can read it in a few minutes.

We reserve the right to change this document at any time and you should therefore check it each time you make a booking. The Terms and Conditions applicable to your booking will be those in place on the date you make your booking.

The service provided is not subject to VAT.

Alberto’s expectations of you

You must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation. We reserve the right to make further checks on the identity of guests, for example by requesting photographic ID.

This contract is non-transferable, i.e. you cannot reserve in your own name and give the reservation to someone else. The only exception to this rule is when a company books for its own employee.

You must not let anyone into the your room without permission. Under no circumstances will additional overnight guests be accepted.

The price does not include breakfast or any meal. On rare occasions, food may be offered to you during your stay. If there is a charge, you will be able to pay for it separately by credit card.

You must be able to access the apartment independently and self-check-in. Failing to do so could lead to you facing additional costs or, in some cases, you could end up having to cancel your booking, with a cancellation fee being charged if applicable and you would also remain without accommodation.

You must not smoke. This includes the smoking of e-cigarettes.

On your last day, you must vacate the room by 11:00 (11am).

Between 23:00 (11pm) and 7:00 (7am) it is not permitted to make or receive phone calls, except in an emergency, nor any type of noisy activity.

Your right to cancel the reservation

You can cancel your reservation by e-mail, telephone, SMS or WhatsApp and you will not be asked for any justification.

If you cancel your reservation up to 7 days before the day of check-in, all the money you have paid will be returned to you. In case of cancellation after this deadline, only 50% of what you paid will be refunded. In case of no-show, you will not receive a refund.

Alberto’s liability

In the event of an error we have made in good faith – for example we have sold the room to more than one guest for the same day – we’ll have the right to declare the entire contract null and therefore to cancel your booking. We reserve the right to do it only within the 8 hours following your payment.

We accept no liability for any failure to perform any of our obligations where such failure is due to events beyond our control, such as war, terrorism, civil disorder, epidemics, earthquake, extreme weather conditions, fire, industrial action.

If we breach these T&C for reasons within our control, we will only be liable for losses which are a direct consequence of such breach, and not indirect/consequential losses such as, for example: loss of income, sales, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, business, reputation.

We reserve the right to transfer your reservation to another hotel or accommodation facility in the area, of equal or superior quality. You will not be eligible for transportation compensation, unless the new accommodation is more than 7 miles away.

If we are unable to accommodate you or find a suitable alternative accommodation for you, we reserve the right to give you, as compensation, 200% of what you have paid. For example, if you paid £80, we’ll refund the £80 and give you another £80. You agree that, if you receive this offer, you must accept it and have no right to demand anything more.

How we handle your data

We do not share your data with anyone other than our payment service provider Stripe.

Your data is held securely on our web server provided by Oracle Cloud and located in the UK.
